Dr Palmyra De Banks
MBBS DRCOG DFFP MRCGP (Merit) DPD
General Practitioner

Dr Palmyra De Banks is a practising GP in St Albans. She trained at the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine before studying surgery and then General Practice. Palmyra gained a Merit in her Membership of the Royal College Of General Practitioners Exams as well as achieving Diplomas in Family Planning and from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She recently completed a Diploma in Dermatology from the University of Cardiff. Palmyra has interests in minor surgery, dermatology and family medicine.

Dr Wendy Molefi-Youri

General Practitioner

Dr Wendy Molefi-Youri obtained her medical degree from Southampton University in 1997. She qualified as a GP in 2005. In addition to working as a GP Principal within the NHS she has experience working in the private sector for Bupa Wellness conducting health assessments. She enjoys all aspects of family medicine and has a special interest in women's health and family planning. She enjoys travelling and spending time with her husband and two children.

Dr Philip Edwards
MBChB MRCGP
General Practitioner

Dr Philip Edwards studied medicine at Manchester University, graduating in 1998. After completing further hospital work in the North West he moved to Hertfordshire in order to train in General Practice. He has lived in St Albans with his wife for the past 8 years and is a GP Partner in the local area. A Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, he is currently studying to become a GP trainer. He has an interest in sports injuries and minor surgery. Outside of medicine he enjoys playing tennis and swimming.

Amelia Tarabe
Nurse

Amelia Tarabe is a fully qualified Nurse. She has spent a number of years working in the community as a District nurse before entering Aesthetics. She is trained to do Laser Treatments as well as Wrinkle Relaxing injections and Fillers. She has qualifications also covering Skin Peels and Mesotherapy. She joined the Clinic in November 2010.

Aileen Taylor
Nurse

Aileen qualified as a general nurse in Dublin, Ireland in 1998. After moving to London in 2001, she trained in Harley Street to carry out various laser aesthetic treatments. After working for a number of years in Harley Street, Aileen went on to work in Dermatology and most recently as an Nurse Specialist in Infection Control for a large London NHS teaching hospital and West Herts Hospital. Aileen lives in St. Albans with her 2 young children and Husband.

Darren De Banks

Business Director

Darren De Banks is an experienced NHS manager with over 10 years service. His previous posts have included the Royal Free Hospital, Kings College Hospital and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. Outside of the NHS Darren has also worked for Capita and brings high-level project management and management consultancy skills. He lives with Palmyra and their Labrador in St Albans.

Sarah Edwards
Sales & Marketing Director

Sarah Edwards brings an extensive knowledge and commercial understanding of international sales and marketing from the photographic and advertising industries. With over 10 years experience working within the media, Sarah is responsible for managing the Ryder ClinicÂ’s marketing and public relations initiatives. Fluent in Spanish and French, Sarah enjoys learning languages and travelling in her spare time.
